Coaching

Coaching is focused on empowering you to find new ways of being and doing. A partnership is formed between the Coach and the Client in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires the Client to achieve sustained change.

This partnership is designed to facilitate the creation of personal, professional or business goals and to develop and carry out a strategy for achieving them.

Coaching assumes that you are the expert and have the answers, your coach is there to inquire, challenge and support you as you discover insights into your own situation.

Me After Mum recognises the vast pressures and life changes women experience at every stage of motherhood. Every woman’s experience is unique and Me After Mum offers a number of online coaching programmes to suit your needs.

FAQs

What areas can coaching help in?

The areas that coaching can help in are endless, some examples of when coaching might be right for you include:

  • Are you struggling with a shift in your identity?

  • Has your sense of self changed?

  • Are you feeling overwhelmed by competing pressures?

  • Do you want to set new boundaries and focus on different priorities?

  • Are you navigating new relationship dynamics?

  • Are you looking to make a career change?

  • Are you experiencing feelings of guilt or other difficult emotions?

Is coaching like therapy?

Although coaching may explore your past experiences as they relate to your current situation it will not work through and examine the past in detail. This is better suited to therapy.

Do you take the same approach for everyone?

Is coaching confidential?

All information (documented or verbal) that you share is bound by the principles of confidentiality set forth in the ICF Code of Ethics. The only time this confidentiality would be broken was if you shared something that was believed to reveal that either you or people immediately around you were at risk in some way or that there was a situation involving illegal activity. This would always be discussed with you beforehand, so nothing should happen as a surprise.

Me After Mum offers women a safe and open environment to discuss and overcome their individual challenges.
